In 1949 two newlyweds in a small country town opened a local grocery store. They worked hard and dedicated themselves to giving their community access to quality, affordable groceries. Because of this, their small store grew into a franchise that was a pillar of trust, charity and family values within their neighborhood.

These standards are what drives Good Ranchers forward today. They are principles put in place by our grandparents and the reason we are laser-focused on delivering high quality, reasonably priced meats to you.

Our grandparents also passed on a legacy of ministry and charity. This legacy has led us to serve others by creating our “Good Ranchers Give Back” food drive. Since 2018 our Good Ranchers Family has been able to donate 300,000 meals.

In 2017, founder Ben Spell and his wife welcomed their first child into the world. It didn’t take long to realize that their options for quality and affordable meats were limited. In 2018, Ben expanded on his grandparent’s legacy by establishing Good Ranchers. The Mission? To provide families all over the country with affordable, tasty, high-quality meat you can trust.
