Meet Our 
Pack Leader

Our pack leader, Ramon van Meer, founded Alpha Paw in 2018 with his 10-year-old son, Victor, out of their mutual love for all things dog.

The proud pet parent to two rescue pups, Ramon has a heart of gold and a soft spot for animals in need. He’s rescued dogs his entire life, giving them the happy & healthy lives they deserved until they found their forever homes – some for just a day or two, others for months at a time. In total, Ramon has had over 50 dogs in his care (!), making him the perfect candidate to lead the Alpha Paw pack.

Ramon passed that entrepreneurial spirit and unbridled passion for helping animals in need onto his son, Victor, who just launched his own company – a doggy cookie bakery that donates a meal to a hungry shelter dog for each bag of cookies sold. As they say: like father, like son. And that’s one father-and-son dream-team we’re proud to know!
