All of PetHonesty’s soft chew treat supplements are manufactured in a huge (215,000 square feet kind of huge!) FDA registered facility right here in the U.S.A. The facility follows all GMP guidelines and is SQF (Safe Quality Food) Level 3 certified and APHIS-approved for multiple countries.

So, what does all that mean in “normal people speak” you ask?

It means we follow the strictest safety and health standards and our production facility is routinely inspected to ensure we’re not cutting corners and that everything is up to sniff…..oops, we mean snuff! In fact, SQF Level 3 is one of the most important certifications you can have and is the highest standard a production facility can obtain when it comes to making treats for your pets.

Our manufacturing team has a combined 75 years of experience in the pet and animal health industry which includes product development and formulation as well as production.

THE STORY BEHIND PETHONESTY

We’re Ben, Sean, and Camille, a trio of pet lovers on a mission to help people enjoy more, and better quality, time with their four-legged best friends.

Our team is comprised of dog lovers, a former U.S. Air Force Officer, a married couple, and a cuddly black lab named Chief (the team favorite of course!).

After watching Chief and family pets suffer from a range of chronic issues like dry and itchy skin, joint pain and immobility and horrible indigestion we realized we (and other dog owners!) could be doing MORE to help their pups live a healthy and pain-free life.

We were seeking solutions that would address these problems that weren’t pharmaceuticals or laden with chemicals or synthetic lab made ingredients, which in some scenarios can actually make things worse over time!

That’s when the idea of delicious soft chew treats filled with essential nutrients and all-natural supplement ingredients were born!
