Facial Lounge was founded in 2000 by Amber Johnson in Corona Del Mar and through Facial Lounge we provide tailor made treatment plans that keep your skin radiant and luminous all day and night.

Amber started working on her esthetic skills at a young age, concocting masks and testing them out on all her friends. After perfecting some of her recipes, she did what any budding entrepreneur would do and packaged them up for retail. Sales were dismal, but Amber dreamed that one day she would develop her own professional line of skincare.

In her teens Amber suffered from Stage 3 cystic acne, and started seeing a dermatologist. Acne is every teens nightmare, but Amber’s silver lining was getting to spend time with a dermatologist, and gaining an understanding into the science of skin. When Amber’s acne finally cleared up, she informed the doctor that she would be his newest intern. The doctor eventually gave in and taught Amber how to chart skin, and perform painless extractions that wouldn’t damage the epidermis.

When Amber finished high school she headed straight to esthetics school to start pursuing her career. After graduating from James Albert, she went on to continue her education with advanced courses. Amber became certified in microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, Epicuren, and eventually studied product ingredients at UCLA. Reparative skincare is Amber’s specialty, and through The Facial Lounge she provides tailor made treatment plans, that keep your skin radiant and luminous.
