A good part of Pamela's childhood was spent cruising around Florida, the Bahamas, and Long Island's East End on her family's cruiser "The Three Hearts."  She draws upon this special time with her family when creating each collection. 

“I want to connect my products to a story and a memory. My grandmother is one of my greatest muses and I can still see her carrying a chic straw bag at our various ports of call. I’d like to believe that she would appreciate my collection if she were still living today.”

With more than 15 years in the fashion industry at CHANEL, Oscar de la Renta, and Bergdorf Goodman, she fuses her business acumen with passion for creating straw handbags and accessories. Since launching the brand in the Spring of 2017, Pamela's designs have been worn by top influencers including Blaire Eadie and Julia Berolzheimer and have received praise from Vogue, Town & Country, Oprah Magazine and Who What Wear, among others. Pamela lives in New York with her two daughters, son, and husband.

Beginning in the Fall of 2020, Pamela Munson will part with wholesale partners to focus on a direct-to-consumer model allowing greater accessibiity to the line and value to customers.
