History

TOSOT was founded in 2003 by its parent company, Gree Electrical Appliances of Zhuhai. Since 2007, Gree has been known as the largest air conditioning manufacturer in the world based on total unit production and gross sales volume. Gree’s yearly unit production is so large that 1 out of every 3 AC units currently in use is manufactured by Gree for Gree brands (like TOSOT) or for OEM distribution (Gree produces the unit, someone else puts their logo on it.)
